Dr. Saptarshi Chaudhuri is a Chief Architect, Researcher, and Inventor with over 23 years of extensive experience in Wireless Software Development, Testing, and Customer Interaction. He holds a PhD from IIIT-Bangalore in LTE MAC Scheduler, RRM, and MAC-PHY Cross Layer Optimization, and has authored 12 Peer-Reviewed Research papers based on Radio-Relay technology, LTE CA, LTE DRX, LTE Uplink Scheduler, LTE Downlink Scheduler, LTE Power Control, MAC-hs design which got published in IEEE TENCON 2018(1 paper), IEEE INDICON 2016( 2 paper), IEEE ANTS 2016( 1 paper), IEEE ICC 2015( 1 paper), IEEE ICCSP 2014 ( 1 paper), IEEE IMSAA 2011( 1 paper), IEEE COMSWARE 2008( 1 paper), IEEE COMSWARE 2007( 1 paper) International Conferences. He has also filled 120+ Patents Application across Multiple countries in the area of LTE with 26 US Granted Patents and 2 European Patents. Dr. Chaudhuri has worked as a Chief Architect - 5G RAN and Principal Technical Architect - Tactical LTE-A Products (Macro eNodeB, Small Cell, Network-In-Box) and is currently the Head of System Engineering 5G RAN at Radisys. He has a complete understanding of Layer-1/2/RRC specification, 5G RAN Product Architecture conceptualization, and Macro Scheduler Algorithm using Massive MIMO, MU-MIMO, CA, eMBB, URLCC using System Level Simulation. He has completed research on Network Slicing of RAN using Multi-Objective optimization and Machine Learning techniques and has managed 4 PhDs and 3 M.Tech Team members with respect to Work Assignment, Reviews, Research Topics, PLM discussions. He has also authored 2 Journal Papers which are published in Elsevier Journal of Computer Communication and Journal of Computer Networks. Dr. Chaudhuri has worked with Tata as a Principal Technical Architect and as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Wipro Technologies’ Wireless Business Unit, Bangalore, cutting across Multiple Technologies from LTE/UMTS/CDMA-1x/GSM.
